A long exposure (15 seconds) of this pier and sign on the Gulf of Mexico caused the clouds to streak across the sky and produced a smooth sheen on the surface of the water. While I was photographing the home made sign a boy on the pier who made the sign asked if I wanted to buy some raw fish he was selling. I thought for a second, then offered him $10 for the sign instead - we had a deal.
