An about to break ocean wave of sandstone in black and white.

Coyote Buttes, in the Paria Canyon-Vermilion Cliffs Wilderness of northern Arizona, is home to the most spectacular, otherworldly sandstone formations.  The one I photographed here is deceptively delicate - the razor thin fins would snap at the slightest touch.
